I was born in Toronto but I grew up splitting my time between Cobourg and Prince Edward County, graduating from East Northumberland Secondary School in Brighton.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Honours from Trent University, a Bachelor of Education with distinction from Western University and a Master of Education from The University of Toronto/Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.
My wife, Dani, and I live in the Grafton area with our three sons—Maxx (14), Knox (11), and Pax (8). We love exploring the incredible outdoor activities Northumberland-Clarke has to offer as a family.
I have spent my entire professional career in education as a Teacher, Vice Principal and Principal. This journey has seen me crisscross the riding as I worked through different positions over the past 25 years.
I began my teaching career at East Northumberland Secondary School in 1999, moving to Newcastle Public School later that year. Two years later I transferred to Colborne where I taught for the next four years.
Over the next two decades, I served as Vice-Principal at South Cramahe, Castleton Public School, Murray Centennial Public School in Trenton, and Terry Fox Public School in Cobourg before becoming Principal at schools across the region, including Percy Centennial in Warkworth, Brighton Public School, Baltimore Public School, and Beatrice Strong Public School in Port Hope.
Since 2012 I have also been a Course Instructor for the Principal Qualification Program at Trent University.
Prior to my current Principal role, I worked as a Support Principal, collaborating with schools and administrators across our riding.
Currently, I’m proud to lead Hillcrest Public School in Campbellford.
Thanks to my professional experience, I know firsthand that Northumberland Clarke is a large and diverse riding and I’m honoured to be the Liberal candidate for this riding.
It will be my privilege to put my local experience to work advocating for our amazing community as your next Member of Parliament.
Your contribution, no matter the size, supports my campaign.
Together, let's protect the gains of the past 10 years.
